Twilight in Forks is the definitive DVD documenting the town of Forks made famous by the Twilight books and movies. Since the Twilight movies weren’t filmed in the real Forks, this is your opportunity to see the town that Stephanie Meyers based her epic teen romance books on. Are there truely vampires and werewolves there? Hear from the real people living their lives in the town fans know and love, including the Chief of Police, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for Bella, and the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice. Visit Forks High School, hear self described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and see many more of the people and places that make Forks and La Push the perfect setting for the Twilight Saga.” Quoted from the jacket of the Twilight in Forks DVD.
Earlier, this DVD was packaged with New Moon. It is now available as a single.

No, Twi-fans, we are not talking about Lautner leaving Twilight or anything to do with our favorite vampire-movie franchise.
Instead, a well-placed source confirms The Last Song star and real-life Miley Cyrus boyfriend has been offered a role Lautner was originally supposed to play…
Lautner, 18, was to be paid $7.5 million to costar in David Ellison’s Northern Lights, but he dropped out shortly after snagging the role, according to industry blog Deadline Hollywood.
Fast-forward to today. Hemsworth, 20, is now in the running for the job. (We love us some Liam, but we doubt he’ll be getting as big a paycheck as Lautner.)
“The offer is true, but who knows if he’ll do it,” a source close to Hemsworth tells me. The movie is about four extreme-flying pilots. It was reportedly supposed to start shooting on April 1.
Hemsworth is about to take off for a European tour to promote The Last Song. He’s also signed on to star in 3-D action flick Arabian Nights.

Rumors and gossip have followed the “Twilight Saga” ever since the first film created an uproar at the box office a year and a half ago. From the personal relationship between the stars to who will direct which sequel, it’s been a non-stop job for Summit Entertainment to put out one fire after another. That continued today.
This morning Canadian gossip site Lainey Gossip reported that reshoots of two key scenes for the forthcoming “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” were occurring in Vancouver next week. The pundit also floated that because of “creative differences” with the studio director David Slade wouldn’t oversee the reshoots and that former helmers Catherine Hardwicke (“Twilight”) and Chris Weitz (“New Moon”) could step in instead. Because the outlet is based in the city and has been correct on a number stories regarding the franchise before, many media took the report with a hint of credibility which was a mistake.
HitFix has learned that Slade, who is currently overseeing the film’s score in London, would be headed to Vancouver himself to film what are obvstentively pick up shots, not reshot scenes. Pick up shots are cut into already completed scenes and can be necessary because of anything from bad lighting, a faulty print or a missing expression or line that was determined in editing. Reshoots insinuate a completely new scene being inserted into a picture.
Additionally, a Summit spokesperson told HitFix that the shoot has been planned for months, the picture is not in “trouble” and, in fact, the studio thinks it may be the best of the three so far. Considering, this writer has heard praise for “Eclipse’s” script, that’s easy to believe. The spokesperson also noted that reshoot timing is three days or less, is not a lot of material and furthermore, they do not involve the meadow scene or any action scenes whatsoever.
Fans will be able to decide their opinion on Slade’s vision for “Eclipse” when the film opens nationwide on June 30.

Taylor Lautner, who usually pines for Kristen Stewart in the Twilight Saga films, has a new romantic screen interest. Lily Collins has landed the job playing Lautner’s love interest in Abduction, the Lionsgate thriller that starts production in 12 weeks on location in Pittsburgh. Collins, daughter of the singer Phil Collins, made her movie debut playing the daughter of Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) in The Blind Side. In Abduction, Collins will play the girlfriend of a young man who discovers the parents that raised him aren’t his. When he reaches out to the real ones, he and his girlfriend are forced to run for their lives. She just wrapped Priest with Paul Bettany.

For Kristen Stewart, who reprises her role as Bella in Twilight: Eclipse, locking lips with costar Taylor Lautner (who plays her pal Jacob) felt odd—not just because she thinks of Lautner as a kid brother, but because Bella’s heart truly belongs to vampire hottie Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). “It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella,” says Stewart. “I was like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ It was a really strange experience—as it should have been.”

According to Before the Trailer, a Web site that follows movie production news, the upcoming Taylor Lautner film “Northern Lights” has set up production offices in Ann Arbor.
According to the Internet Movie Database, “Northern Lights” “follows four young pilots as they compete against the world’s best. (It’s) A story of teamwork, sacrifice, loss, and victory.”
The 18-year-old Lautner, a Grand Rapids-area native, is being paid $7.5 million for the film.
Before the Trailer says the movie will begin filming in June, and there will likely be no shortage of teenage (and older) girls heading to A2 to scope him out as he works.
“Northern Lights” is not mentioned on the Michigan Film Office’s list of films producing in Michigan, but stay tuned for updates on whether this news is official or not.
